Following the acclamation of Erin Collins as Grievance Officer, there is a vacancy in the Chief Shop Steward–Outside Function. As well, there were no nominations for the position of Chief Shop Steward– PPC Internal # 1 shift/Wickets/Group 1 C&D. This position will also be up for election at the next GMM.

As there were no nominations for PPC Internal/Wickets/Group 1 C&D Chief Shop Steward—Shift 1, the position will be up for election at the January General Membership Meeting. In addition, the resulting vacant External LC & MSC Chief Shop Steward position will be up for election due to the acclamation of Erin Collins as Grievance Officer.

Tentative Agreements Adopted by the Membership

After six weeks of local membership meetings, the members in both the Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers (RSMC) and the Urban Postal Operations (UPO) bargaining units have ratified their tentative collective agreements reached with Canada Post on September 1st.
