VACANCY IN THE POSITION OF GRIEVANCE OFFICER IN THE PACIFIC REGION

The National Executive Board has declared a vacancy in the position of Grievance Officer in the Pacific Region. As per the provisions of section 3.37 of the National Constitution, this position must be filled by election at the next Regional Conference.
Nominations are now open for the position of Grievance Officer, Pacific Region. Only members in good standing may seek election to this position.
Nominations must be:
- Moved by a member in good standing;
- In writing, signed by the mover;
- Accepted by the candidate in writing and signed;

December 6 marks the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women to commemorate the anniversary of the 14 women who were killed at Montreal’s École Polytechnique on this day in 1989.

As the Covid 19 pandemic has moved into it’s second wave Canada Post has announced as of Monday November 23rd at 12:01 am, masks or face coverings are mandatory for anyone who enters any CPC facility.
As this may have come to a surprise to some, CPC has also stated that they will allow an adjustment period. They will not enforce this until 12:01 am Thursday, November 26th.

As the Covid 19 pandemic is in its second wave, we all need to be mindful of what the health professionals are saying and follow their advice. We all need to be respectful and considerate of others, as well as taking responsibility for ourselves.
