Due to local bylaw changes the Vancouver Secretary-Treasurer position will be      part-time starting in February. See the schedule below for dates the Secretary-Treasurer will be in the office. Update on the PPC Shift Bid – January 31 2018

Update on the PPC Shift Bid

  • A copy of the new PPC rosters will be posted tomorrow, February 1, 2018.
  • Those members that require an accommodation that are showing up on the roster in an area that they cannot work please do not panic. The Article 54 discussions have not been completed yet.
  • Once all accommodation discussions have taken place a final copy of the roster will be posted on Friday, with all the updates.

Shift Bid Consultation 2018

On December 13, 2018, the Union met with the employer to consult on the 2018 shift bid. At this meeting, the Corporation proposed the movement of a considerable number of assignments from sections such as S/L Manual, VES, PLU and the Annex to the Parcels/Packets section. The Corporation based its reasoning for doing so on the requirement to refocus or reallocate resources due to the increase in parcel business and decrease in letter mail. STDP Deadlines: Agreement on Amounts Owed to Employees
