On Monday, August 10, 2015, Ikea Catalogue delivery begins. After signing a perennial national Memorandum of Agreement regarding Ikea Catalogue delivery, Canada Post typically adjusts a handful of delivery schedules across the country. This year, the introduction of residential home delivery has been included.

Pride 2015
The Pride Parade Is August 2, 2015!
Come On Down To Show Your Support!
The Vancouver Local would like to extend a warm invitation to all CUPW members of the LGBT community, straight allies, families, and friends to join us at the Vancouver Pride Parade.
- We will be marching with the CUPW banner as part of the multi union contingent. Marchers must be at the designated staging area by 12:30 PM. (Although the parade is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM, our staging location is near the end of all the floats so we will not be moving for quite a while after the start time.)
- The Multi Union marchers have been assigned the Staging Location of FN18 which means we will be on the north side of Albernie Street between Thurlow and Burrard. Please view the staging map HERE for more information.
- Be there before 12:30 PM showing all of your colours, dressed up, and ready to have fun and show your PRIDE!!!!!

NOTICE OF MOTION: 11.7 Temporary Workers
A notice of motion was presented at the June 25th, 2015, General Membership Meeting. The motion seeks to change the language of Article 11.7 of the local bylaws and the payment for wage loss to temporary workers while attending union functions on work days.
