In advance of the May 2019 CUPW National Convention all Regions are being asked to submit resolutions for changes to the National Constitution.
This meeting will be held on Sunday July 22, from 8am – noon at the Maritime Labour Centre (1880 Triumph St., Vancouver, BC). There will be a BBQ from noon until 1pm with the GMM to follow.
All Members in Good Standing are welcome to attend and participate in the process.
The National Constitution is available on the Vancouver Local website www.cupw-vancouver.org and hard copies are available at the Union Hall.
These resolutions will be voted on and ratified at our August 23, 2018, General Membership Meeting, before being submitted to the Pacific Regional Office. The deadline for us to submit our demands to the Regional Office is September 18, 2018.
