- a combination of both
- you will receive a new annual allotment of Personal days on January 1st, 2014
Changes to the carry over of eligible compensatory time have also changed. At the end of the year, you can:
- be paid out for all your eligible compensatory time,
- carry over up to five (5) days of compensatory time,
- a combination of both
*Important:
There are two different methods available for carrying over Personal Days and Compensatory time:
- Request a Carry- over Form from your Supervisor (see example on reverse).
- Visit the Employee Self Serve (ESS) on the Canada Post web site, log in and visit the Carry-Over Tool.
**Please Note:
- Between December 1 and 31, you must indicate your intentions to carry over all remaining unused Personal Days.
- Between January 1 and 7, you must indicate the specific number of Personal Days, or between January 2 – March 31, the amount of Compensatory Time you wish to carry-over can be no more than five (5) days. Otherwise the number indicated in the form submitted prior to December 31 will take affect.
- The Corporation has stated that all forms received after January 7th will not be accepted or processed and all unused Personal Days will be automatically paid out.
